Dutch Design Coffee table by Hank Kwint for MetaForm, 1980s

Impressive contemporary design by Hank Kwint for Metaform Netherlands. A design from the mid-80s that is yet to be recognized by the design world at large and therefore a potential future investment piece. The table stars a sophisticated design that evolves around the central marble foot. The inox metal bars pass through the foot in a cross section pattern. The thick 2 cm glass plate complements the look. The abstract lines of the frame really stand out through the glass plate. This table is an example of minimalistic Dutch design from the 1980’s.
