Dutch Design floor lamp by Dijkstra lampen, 1970s

This floor lamp by Dijkstra, the Netherlands was designed circa 1960–1970.

The plastic caps are made of plastic / plexiglass and made of transparent brown. The inner part of the hood is colored white for better light output. This sphere is adjustable (also in height) so that you can direct the light in any direction. The lamp has a metal brown base and an arm in chrome color.

Dijkstra company was founded in 1922 by Fokke Dijkstra in the small town Cruquius in the North-Holland province near Haarlem, not so for away from Amsterdam.
